I come across so many interesting and useful tools and resources everyday. This blog is to share anything I think is interesting and helpful. Though I hope that it serves GIS professionals and cartographers, I also hope that a general audience will also find a use for it.

Wired News-"San Franciscans may have noticed an odd, camera-laden car driving through city streets taking photos of everything, but this time, it wasn’t Google. The Hand Drawn Map Association is looking for new submitted hand drawn maps to be included in their book being published by the Princeton Architectural Press. Submissions should be received by the end of April 2009.

If you don't already know, the maps that are part of the  Hand Drawn Map Assocation collection are created by the people and range from maps they drew to show friends how to get somewhere or maps of imagenary lands. The collection is really neat and can be viewed online.
